So. I found my notebook from first grade, with a story/summary I did, and I can't stop laughing. >>;
One Morning Lazy Lion woke up like a Duak. he sao a lamb. he a said to the lamb. how R you. the Lamb Said fine thank you And you. And he said fine thak you. And dan he sao a Dog wilh a log. And dan he thrad in to a Duak. he Whihd he Was a Lion Agun. he was soooo sad. And Dan he thirad in to a Lion Augn And Lived Happly ever After. the end.
I had also written a story about a lazy caterpillar that had a butler. Oh, the hilarity. |D

But yeah, right now, I want to watercolour
SO BADLY.
I'LL TRADE YOU UGLY ARTS FOR A 9 DOLLAR TUBE OF PAINT?!

Also I'm kinda afraid to post stuff now because all these amazing people are watching me. (T////T)
But I'll try to post some girls soon, too! I don't draw them that often, so I need practice, definitely, definitely!

FOR STARTING WATERCOLORS
Get an 8-color Crayola watercolors set.

I know, I know, I am a crazy art student. HOW CAN SHE USE CHEAP THINGS. But the colors are sooo bright, they work really quite nicely. It's not tubed, but that's the only downside. It's $4 or less for a set, so you can start there!

Dude I totally found watercolors just like floating around my house randomly. I bet you have some too if you have any kinda artsy family.

...But srsly just buy a cheap set if you need one. Like the only difference is vibrancy of color anyways, which I don't think most people can tell.

I have a really old (like, it's at LEAST 20 years old) set of 11 Grumbacher Academy watercolours, but I'm a bit wary of them, since the tubes say "No health labeling required." o_o;

+I have a 16 Prang set, yet I always get muggier colors when I try to get nice neutrals, so that's a primary reason as to why I'm looking at fancy pants tubes. XD

Oh, you're not crazy! :heart: I use crayons and mysterious oil pastels and those markers that smell like cinnamon and lemons and stuff ALL THE TIME. 8D

I have a 16 Prang set (with replaced colours lol) and some 20yo+ Grumbacher tubes of questionable quality. The main reason why I want fancy paint is because they don't get muggy very easily and are very vibrant and homglovely. I used my teacher's paints a lot though, so I am biased, hahaha! XD

But I'll definitely go out and grab some Crayolas! Thanks~ :D

YAY FOR RANDOM ARTIST TOOLS. XD Naw, I started out on tubes, too, and really like those a lot better. I just find it easy to use when it's already all wet and squishy. XD But I'm in love with the blue in the Crayola set. It's so HELLO THERE I AM BLUE!

Yeah, you always have to dig into pans and then it's mucky and then you have to dig even deeper. ;e_e
+omg I hate looking for blues, too...! And blacks. Those always turn out to be purple! D:< Stupid purple, I don't need you!

I'm pretty sure that watercolors stay good forever. :0 Stuff in a tube might've hardened though. Just poke a hole innit and put some water in and it should be fine.

And... What.. In the world does muggier mean. XD
